Where can I get a copy of my divorce certificate?

You can get a copy from the Clerk of Superior and Magistrate Courts’ office.

Can you provide research over the phone?

No. You must do the searching yourself or request the records.

What does it mean to violate my probation?

It means that you have violated the law or a court-ordered sanction. If it’s a mild violation, you may be able to handle it with your probation officer. If it’s more serious, you will have to appear in court.

Can you recommend an attorney?

No, the Clerk’s office cannot recommend attorneys.

How do I file a criminal case?

You must first contact the police department to make a report.
